You don’t know exactly what to study after your graduation? You are considering a course of studies in the field of natural sciences or engineering but you need more information for your decision? We offer you a TryScience Workshop to gain an insight into the two different study programs "environmental engineering" and "simulation technologies". It gives you the possibility to explore how the combination of experiments and simulations help to understand invisible environmental processes.
About the Workshop
What happens if the soil is contaminated with pollutants such as pesticides or road salt and it starts to rain? Where does the dirty rainwater actually go? Flow processes play a major role here, because it seeps into the ground and works its way through various earth and rock layers until it finally flows into the groundwater. However, how can we make these invisible processes visible? Find out at our SFB TryScience Workshop how simulations help us here!
