On 26 and 27 April 2021, all doctoral researchers of SFB1313 had the chance to present the results of their doctoral projects during the annual doctoral workshop. The meeting was held online and served as a good occasion to meet, discuss, and enjoy the research of the individual projects.
The presentations of the doctoral researchers showed that they are well connected within the SFB and the lively discussions after the presentations were a great reminder of how important scientific discussions and such workshops are.
Additionally, a new format called “Short Track” was established, where MSc students, working on a subject related to the research of SFB1313, were invited to present their work for 10-15 minutes. With the short track series these students were able to participate in the entire doctoral workshop, get to know and connect with doctoral researchers, and are hopefully encouraged to pursue a doctorate after their theses.
