Best Question Award
Congratulations to our guest, Bo Guo from the University of Arizona, and our principal investigator, Carina Bringadel, for winning the "Best Question Award" at the SFB 1313 Status Seminar 2024. Engaging doctoral researchers recognized their insightful inquiries during the poster sessions as exemplary.
Public Engagement Award
One novelty of SFB 1313's second funding period is the "Public Engagement Award", endowed with 1000 euros. Researchers are awarded this prize for their outstanding contribution to SFB 1313 science communication. The management team decided to acknowledge two researchers for their public engagement:
- Stefanie Kiemle (research project C-X5) and
- Matthias Ruf (research project Z02) for their contributions to SFB 1313 science outreaching.
Congratulations to both of them!
Special thanks go to Edward Coltman and Beate Spinner for organizing the status seminar 2024, to our new spokesman, Holger Steeb, to our old spokesman, Rainer Helmig, and to the whole team for creating such a great working environment and team spirit! We're looking forward to meeting again in 2025.
