The first SFB 1313 status seminar of the second funding period could finally take place in presence again from 7 to 9 March 2022. This year, only the principal investigators and doctoral researchers could come together in Gültstein / Herrenberg (Germany) to present their projects. New colleagues could be welcomed in person and the new research projects and vision topics could be introduced.
New projects
- Project INF "Research Data Management and Research Software Engineering"
- Project Z02 "Porous Media Lab (PML)"
- Vision topics on calcite dissolution, salt precipitation, and fractures
New Doctoral Researchers' Representatives
Tim Brünette (research project B04) and Julian Härter (research project A06) were elected the new Doctoral Researchers' Representatives and took over the tasks of Elissa Eggenweiler (research project A03) and Johannes Eller (former doctoral researcher of research project A01). Thank you very much Elissa and Johannes for your engagement over the past four years and congratulations to Tim and Julian!
New MGK coordinators
Katharina Heck (SFB 1313 management) and Stefanie Kiemle (internal research project I-04) took both over the task of Simon Emmert and are now the new coordinators in the team of the Integrated Research Training Group (project MGK) of SFB 1313. Thank you Simon for all your work and motivation and welcome to Katharina and Stefanie!
Best Question Award
Nikolaos K. Karadimitriou and Tim Ricken won the "Best Question Award" during the poster sessions for asking the best questions to the doctoral researchers.
