The student representatives, Yann Rivas and Jun Chen led the opening session. The day featured a variety of presentations and discussions, including a talk by Andreas Yiotis on Mean-field population balance equations for ganglia dynamics in porous media models, followed by a session with Dorothea Iglezakis and Sybille Herrmann on an Introduction to DaRUS and JoDaKiss. After a short break, the meeting continued with three group presentations on the collaborations within SFB 1313.
Following the lunch break, Wolfgang Ehlers presented on Fracturing of fully and partially saturated porous media based on a TPM-Phase-field approach. Christian Rohde provided information on the third funding period of SFB 1313 later on and concluded with a session planning the SFB 1313 Summerschool 2025.
