The workshop will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas in the field of multiscale modeling and experiment of coupling of free flow and porous medium flow, e.g., evaporation process and drying, salt precipitation, interface roughness, reactive transport, and solver and numerical schemes. Our goal is to provide a forum to discuss not only the ongoing works but also the current challenges in each specific field, and the possible approaches to tackle them. Senior researchers from University of Stuttgart and different international research institutes and universities will present and discuss their work in the workshop.
