SFB Status Seminar, Gültstein (Herrenberg), Germany, 9th to 11th March 2020
The annual Status Seminar of SFB 1313 offers a platform for established scientists and for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in the field of porous media. The meeting is designed to promote exchange of ideas and transfer of know-how.
Stuttgart members and associated international members of SFB 1313 are invited to attend the Status Seminar.
- There is no registration fee.
- SFB 1313 is prepared to cover the local expenses (accommodation for two nights in the Tagungszentrum Gültstein and the costs for food and non-alcoholic drinks) from Monday, 9th March to Wednesday, 11th March 2020.
- Travel expenses cannot be reimbursed.

By public transport:
From Stuttgart by S-Bahn no. 1 (metro) to Herrenberg, then take the train R 73 to Gültstein. Information about Stuttgart's public transit association (VVS) is available here.
On foot from Gültstein to the conference centre: After leaving the train in Gültstein, keep right and walk along Wilhelm-Nagel-Straße until you reach Schlossstraße. Turn right up Schlossstraße, cross the railway line and turn left after about 20 metres into Erholungsheimstraße. Walk on to the entrance Tor 3. This takes about ten minutes.
By car from Stuttgart/Singen on the A81:
Exit Herrenberg/Tübingen (exit 28). Keep on the B 28 towards Herrenberg. Do not take the first exit to Gültstein-Industriegebiet, but the second to Gültstein. After entering the village, turn right into Erholungsheimstraße and drive on until Tor 3 on the right.
We have plenty of parking spaces free of charge!

Registration Form - SFB 1313 Status Seminar 2020
Important Date: Registration is open until Tuesday, 7th January 2020
The local expenses of the Status Seminar (accommodation for two nights from 9th to 11th March 2020 in the Tagungszentrum Gültstein and the costs for food and non-alcoholic drinks) will be covered for all participants.
Especially participants from abroad may wish to arrive in Gültstein already on Sunday, 8th March 2020. This is possible. However, people arriving one day earlier should cover the costs for their extra night and the breakfast on 9th March 2020 by their own funds in cash. As the reception of the Tagungszentrum is closed during the weekend, there will be no dinner offered. People arriving on Sunday will get a code to open the building.
Depending on the number of participants, we may have to accommodate doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in shared rooms. Single rooms can only be guaranteed for senior researchers. All other people requiring a single room should state their reasons in the section "Special room requirements".
